fit-foot-forward:

This is Scarlett Johansson at a beach in Hawaii.

She is one of the most gorgeous women in the world and a huge sex symbol. She isn’t totally skinny, she only has a thigh gap if she stands with her legs apart and she has cellulite and stretch marks on her thighs and butt. Does she give a fuck? No!

Regardless of all this, she’s absolutely gorgeous. There’s nothing wrong with cellulite, or stretch marks, or not having a perfectly flat stomach, you are beautiful and these things are normal.

I just wanted you all to see somebody who isn’t “perfect”, is still incredibly beautiful and doesn’t care about her stretch marks.

This legitimately just made me feel 1,000x better. I am a perfectionist about every aspect of my life, and sometimes it’s hard for me to recognize that nobody is or can be perfect.

I’m pretty sure I have reblogged this before but I just love this so much. Scarlett is one of my favorite women of all time.

why do straight ppl think they can whine about gay ppl “throwing their sexuality in our faces” when almost every waking second of every minute of every day of my life is filled with heterosexual romance media and heteronormativity. like u think 2 girls holding hands in public is rubbing their sexuality in ur face you have no fucking idea what queer people go through on a daily basis shut the fuck up

Thank you, Disney, for making a Princess who breaks her own curse.

Hate is bullshit, regardless of the mask it wears.

hearing someone say

"i hate that person because they are cis"

makes me just as uncomfortable as hearing someone say

"i hate that person because they are trans"

hate can exist anywhere and it’s terrifying.

hate people for what they do, not for who they are; no matter who they happen to be.

Okay…but trans people are actually brutalized and murdered because they are trans. Cis people say “I hate trans people” because they are bigoted and are supporting the violence towards trans people.

Cis people are not murdered because they are cis. Trans people say “I hate cis people” because they are constantly at risk of being assaulted or murdered by cis people and surprisingly trans people are not mind readers, who can instantly assume if you are going to be cool or fucking murder them. And maybe they are a bit exhausted and tired of living with that constant fear hanging over them.

So maybe we should watch how we compare apples to oranges to the constant threat of violent hate crimes.
